Sinead o’riordon
Founder / Producer
Sinéad is an award-winning Irish actress, producer and founder of ORion Productions. She holds an Honours Degree in Engineering (Electronic), an Associate Recital Diploma from LAMDA and a Post Graduate Diploma (Advanced Producing) from TU Dublin in association with Screen Ireland.
She founded ORion Productions with a view to initially creating her own work and then branched into producing numerous short films, music videos, feature films and web series.
Sinéad plays Lara in Element Pictures’ hilarious new TV Series, The Dry, directed by Paddy Breathnach which will air on RTE in Autumn (2022) and also leads an Assassins Creed short film ‘Siege of Paris’ in the role of Eivor.
She recently co-produced Brian Benjamin Dwyer’s Puttnam award-winning short film Wireless which has since screened at OSCAR & BAFTA qualifying festivals. Sinéad also produced the Screen Ireland-funded short film, Conversations With My Dead Father which won Best In Cork at Fastnet Film Festival 2022, earned an Aer Lingus Discovery Nomination at DIFF and has since been picked up by Aer Lingus for their In-Flight Entertainment.
She co-produced the acclaimed four-part web series Sucking Diesel, winner of the Best International Web Series at the 2018 NYCWebfest. Sinéad also produced the indie feature film Dead Along The Way, which went on to have an Irish theatrical release and is now available globally on Amazon Prime.
Sinéad has also worked as an EPK Field Producer on an array of Netflix and AppleTV films and TV Series.
Maurice O’ Carroll
Writer/Director/Creative Producer
Maurice O Carroll is a multi-award-winning writer/director and graduate of Screen Ireland’s prestigious Advanced Producers programme.
He recently directed and post-produced the Screen Ireland-funded short Conversations with my Dead Father which earned him an Aer Discovery Lingus nomination at the Dublin International Film Festival, won BEST IN CORK at Fastnet Film Festival 2022 and for which he also won Best Director at the Beara Film Festival.
Maurices’ one-hour documentary Mountrath Unlocked filmed in his 2km lockdown zone during the Covid-19 pandemic, premiered at the 33rd Galway Film Fleadh.
Described by Donald Clarke as “A taste of Tarantino….in a good way”, his highly acclaimed independent debut feature film, Dead Along The Way premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh, enjoyed an Irish theatrical release and is now available globally on Amazon Prime. His web series Sucking Diesel (Best International Web Series, New York Fest) is available on Amazon Prime and now enjoys a cult following.
